Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker, born April 22 1990 was an American musician, rapper actor, songwriter, and actor. His dual genre of hip-hop and alternative rock is what earned him fame. The mixtapes he released were four between 2007 and 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. He released his first studio album entitled Lace Up in 2012, which peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 and contained his breakout single "Wild Boy" (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his third and second albums. The latter album featured the smash hit track "Bad Things" that was performed by Camila Cabello. It peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2018), featured rap rock. Machine Gun Kelly's fifth album Tickets to My Downfall was released in 2020. This album marked an unorthodox departure from hip hop and a transition into the world of pop punk. It ranked first on the Billboard 200 and was the only rock album to reach that rank. The hit single "My Ex's Best Friend" was also able to climb to the top 20 of the Hot 100. The album was followed by Mainstream Sellout (2022) which was a similar commercial success. He has since appeared in the thriller Nerve (2016) and the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence in addition to the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
